Velvett Fogg is a Classic Album from the 60/70's Psychedelic/Progressive Rock era. Featuring Yellow Cave Woman (Keith Law) is now a cult anthem, for a whole new generation!
This album has been re-released due to demand and the fact that the original vinyl album, was/is now attracting lots of interest. Velvett Fogg who are currently working on a new album, are copied by many European Bands.
Velvett Fogg were primarily a studio band, that also toured Universities/Colleges, 1969/70.

Format:Audio CD Appearing in 1968, and disappearing just as quickly, Velvett Fogg's only LP is a truly great, lost classic of British psychedelic music. At it's best it features some imaginative guitar and organ workouts combined with quirky and unusual lyrics and the band's covers of 'New York Mining Disaster' and 'Come Away Melinda' add an eerie tone missing from the originals. Fogg's own originals include the childlike 'Wizard of Gobsolod', the haunting and somewhat dislocated 'Lady Caroline' and the jazzy workout of 'Owed to the Dip' but the tone of the album is set by the powerfully doom-laden opener, 'Yellow Cave Woman'. It's a great record and it's rounded off with the inclusion of the band's only single, a 68-style, special effect laden version of ' Telstar' - the sleeve notes, by John Peel, are a remarkable 1968 artifact in their own right
New Musical Express February 8th 1969.
"I liked the wierd harmony singing on Yellow Cave Woman and the Oriental-sounding effects on Wizard of Gobsolod"
Another underground group favoured by John Peel who again writes the sleeve notes. A four strong group with a couple of nudie birds added to the aggregation for the front picture
" Favourite tracks are, 'Once Among the Trees, with sexy undertones and overtones- come to that Yellow Cave Woman a very long opening tack and the Bee Gees' "Mining Disaster" which is far from disastrous done this way round Something of interest all the way round from this Fogg

Once Among The Trees
Such a beautiful and creative, a psychedelic rock band who,
inevitably arrive somewhere 70's like he never existed, but Velvet Fogg.
perhaps less so beloved by the early years of the hippie generation,
until the invention of the internet is completely forgotten.
This way, you know, very few people on the coast psychedelic rock band
to listen to bi left corner is very exciting. beatrixkiddofof- YouTube
